Position Overview:


We are seeking highly skilled and passionate barber (1), braiders (1-2), loctician (1), Micro Loc specialists (1) (for full-time positions), and several children's stylists, colorists, traveling stylists, makeup artists, and brow technicians (for daily rental/part-time positions), to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Consultations: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their preferences, needs, and expectations. Provide professional recommendations based on individual hair and beauty goals.
  • Hair Services: Offer a variety of services, including cutting, coloring, braiding, loc maintenance, kid styling, and makeup and brow shaping technique. We also encourage specialty services like Micro Locs, crochet maintenance, detox and crochet maintenance.
  • Client Education: Advise clients on hair care, maintenance, and product recommendations, ensuring they leave with the knowledge and confidence to maintain their new look at home.
  • Maintain Cleanliness & Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and salon cleanliness standards to provide a safe and comfortable environment for both clients and staff.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow beauty professionals to share techniques, client tips, and support one another’s growth.
  • Professional Growth & Development: Participate in regular training sessions, workshops, and events offered by the salon to expand your skills and stay current with beauty trends.
  • Social Media Engagement: Promote your work and engage with clients on social media platforms. Build and maintain a professional online presence, showcasing your talents and encouraging client interaction. We encourage the use of platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook to build your personal brand and collaborate with the shop's pages as well.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Barber, Braider, Loctician, Micro Loc Specialist, Kid Stylist, Colorist, Brow Technician, or other beauty professional (specific role based on hiring need).
  • Valid state licensure and certification where applicable.
  • Strong portfolio of work showcasing skills, creativity, and versatility.
  • Social Media Experience: Must have experience creating and posting professional beauty content on social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.). Familiarity with creating engaging content and building a following is essential.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Passion for continuous learning and professional development.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
